We often hear sayings like "live in the moment!" Younger generations often abbreviate this by saying "YOLO"! We are so afraid that we might miss something that we live for the present more often then planning for the future! Now, don't get me wrong, we can't keep looking to the future without living in the now! But, we must find a healthy balance of that!

      In saying that, I've been so focused on future success that I've been missing every trivial but beautiful thing that has been happening around me. I feel as though I was reminded to look around and see the beauty by helping at the Involvement Expo and Fall fair! There were so many booths that primarily focused on using our skills and passions for something that would be impactful domestically and internally! After leaving the fair I felt a greater sense of meaning and purpose for my life.
